The post forms part of the business support team and provides comprehensive, administrative and secretarial service to the Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services (ADRS), Care and Treatment multidisciplinary team in the NE HSCP area. It is essential that the post holder is a proficient typist with excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of disciplines. The post holder will be required to process referrals and enquiries on a daily basis utilising systems e.g. Emis; Carefirst; Waiting Times; Microsoft Word; Excel; and also support the generic functions and duties administered within the wider ADRS Business Support section as required. The role includes the requirement to complete a multi range of tasks which includes; telephone answering; reception role; processing referrals; updating OFFICIAL Revised 24 May 2021 OFFICIAL Page 5 of 5 responsibilities, the key essential qualifications, experience and skills required & additional information about the service /department that will attract candidate’s interest in the role, waiting times system; printing and checking prescriptions working as part of a team.
