Are you a ready to take on a new challenge? Do you want to be part of an established team that is at the forefront of delivering OPAT in the Highlands? This is an exciting opportunity at a time of continuing quality improvement to join the OPAT team on a permanent basis.
Working as an independent practitioner alongside other members of the multidisciplinary team the successful applicant will provide comprehensive clinical skills, information, advice and support to patients with complex infections throughout the NHS Highland area.
You should possess sound clinical knowledge, be able to demonstrate a wide range of clinical skills, including the ability to offer interventions, advice and delivery of safe, effective care to a diverse client population. Good interpersonal skills and a commitment to team working are essential for this post, along with vision, innovation and a real desire to provide the highest standards of patient care.
Our ideal candidate will be educated to Masters Degree level or be able to evidence relevant clinical experience, hold, or is willing to work towards the non-medical prescribing and, clinical history taking and advanced clinical examination qualifications. You must be highly organised, and have good IT skills as a key responsibility of this post is to develop and maintain a comprehensive complex infection database for clinical audit and research purposes.
