An exciting opportunity has arisen within AHSCP Primary Care Teams for experienced Registered Nurse/s to develop a new small team of Clinical Educators. 

The post holder/s will act as Clinical Nurse Educator/s working across teams of District Nursing, Tayside Out of Hours & General Practice, to support the development, provision and management of high quality, clinical education and teaching. 

The post holder will be responsible for:

•    Co-designing and co-delivering practice based learning
•    Clinical skills development
•    Supporting the development of local training plans across the services
•    Ensuring that the provision of clinical education & teaching meets both service and professional requirements


You will play a key role in the leadership and development of specialist education and training programmes and work collaboratively colleagues across AHSCP Primary Care  to deliver high quality evidenced based care.

You must be a Registered Nurse, with extensive post registration experience and possess highly developed clinical, teaching & learning skills and demonstrate an interest in and have experience in delivering educational programmes. Please refer to the job description for further requirements of the post. Candidates should be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA of the NMC Register.

A requirement of the post is a willingness to travel across the geographical area of Angus Health & Social Care Partnership & Tayside OOH services.

Hours of work: Full & Part time hours both Permanent & Fixed term posts available.
