To undertake the Postgraduate Diploma in Person-centred Practice: School Nursing to meet the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Standards of proficiency for specialist community public health nursing - School Nurse (SCPHN-SN).

We are currently able to offer permanent contracts and funding for programme feed, in preparation for taking on a key role as a SCPH-SN in delivering health and wellbeing pathways of support for children, young people and their families in NHS Lothian.
You will be appointed to a student School Nurse role, Band 5, progressing to a Band 6 SCPHN-SN post on successful completion of the programme and registration on Part 3 of the NMC register. Graduates will be expected to consolidate practice within NHS Lothian for two years post registration.
