A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within the Women and Children’s Practice Education Team for the post of a Band 4 Associate Practice Educator on a full-time permanent basis (part time hours / job share may also be considered).
The successful candidate will be based at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital / Aberdeen Maternity Hospital and primarily aligned to the Women and Children’s Practice Education Team and also the wider NHS Grampian Practice Education Team.
The post-holder will be fully supported in their new role to help develop the HCSW workforce locally and also on occasion be part of wider team initiatives which may involve further travel across Grampian to attend meetings, training and events.
You will be highly motivated and passionate about supporting the delivery of high quality compassionate care through providing education and development opportunities to health care support workers within the clinical setting. You will have the ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work effectively within busy and motivated teams.
You should have extensive experience as a Band 2 or above, and be educated to Higher National Certificate level or equivalent. A proven interest in training, education and professional development for all staff would be essential and further development would be supported within the role.
