We have 4 vavancies for Domestics within University Hospital Monklands, minimum of 25 hours per week and flexible working hours available.

The Kickstart Scheme provides 6-month paid employment opportunities for young people offering a mix of work experience and employability skills training. All positions are a minimum of 25 hours a week.
NHS Scotland is supporting the Kickstart Scheme offering a variety of roles paid at the National Living Wage to help you start your employment journey. You will gain work experience and skills training enabling you to develop highly transferrable skills and gain valuable insights into roles and career routes on offer in the NHS.
In this role toy will be trained in
- All aspects of cleaning ensuring work schedules are followed as per the national specification
- Carry out work as efficiently and safely within the defined area
- Care and use of mechanical cleaning equipment, vacuum cleaners, scrubber/polishers and industrial cleaning products Changing of all window curtains, blinds, bed screens and portable screens.
- Disposal of waste in accordance with Policy - black bag waste and clinical waste bags
- Serving Food & Beverages to Patients
- Collecting Water Jugs & Beakers replenishing and redistributing
- Undertaking all duties wearing appropriate PPE
- Working around patients, medical and nursing staff
- Respecting at all times Patient Confidentiality
