The NHS Golden Jubilee finance team has a unique opportunity for an individual with the ambition, drive and determination to make a real difference. This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified finance professional who is self-motivated and wants to be part of a dynamic Financial Management department.

We are looking for someone who is committed to working in a challenging, rewarding and enjoyable finance role in the NHS. As a key member of the National Elective Service Directorate you will be an integral part of the service team involved in delivering significant service expansion, including the recently commissioned NHS GJ Eye Unit and the planned new Surgical Unit.
You will also be a senior member of the financial management team where you will:-
- have reporting responsibilities for a variety of complex and interesting service areas,
- assist in the provision of a professional financial management service to key stakeholders.
- work closely with dedicated service managers who are committed to making a difference.
Ideally, you will have a degree and be qualified to diploma-level of a nationally recognised, professional accountancy body (CCAB), or have demonstrable equivalent experience. Experience of working in the NHS or equivalent large, complex organisation is essential, as are excellent communication, planning and IT skills. The ability to work proactively and use your initiative to deliver to strict timelines while managing multiple demands is essential.
