An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Dundee Blood Collection Team in an Admin support role.

The Donor Services Apheresis Support Officer role is to provide clerical, administration and promotional support in our Whole Blood and Apheresis Departments.  The post holder would be responsible for delivery of excellent customer care to donors, staff and all stakeholders.

Post-holder will work as part of a team to ensure essential information is accurately recorded and updated in a timely manner, good organisational skills and attention to detail are required for all aspects of the job.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic, motivated, flexible individuals keen to undertake this challenging and interesting post.  Candidates must be educated to higher grade level or demonstrate equivalent experience.  We are seeking an individual with a customer focused approach, who is organised and adaptable.  You must also possess excellent communication skills, have the ability to multi task and be able to work under pressure.  A good to high working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and good key board skills are essential.  An understanding of Web based products is desirable.  Knowledge of Donor Services and current systems within SNBTS is essential.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme Disclosure Scotland check. 

Any candidate who has lived/worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency.
