PRACTICE NURSE
BAND 6 OR BAND 5 DEVELOPMENT
Band 5 £26,104- £32,915 (pro-rata)
Band 6 £33,072 - £40,736 (pro-rata)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered General Nurse to join Riverview; an NHS Highland Practice based in Wick. You will be part of our multi-disciplinary team of GP’s, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Paramedic, Nurses, Clinical Support, Physiotherapy and Pharmacy, providing primary care to 7500 patients.
Ideally, you will be a Nurse Prescriber with Chronic Disease management skills including Asthma, COPD and Diabetes or you will be motivated to learn and develop within the team.
You will have excellent clinical, communication and time management skills. You will be equally comfortable and effective working autonomously and as part of the multi-disciplinary team to proactively monitor, manage and support patients with their health.
Primary care experience is desirable but not essential as training can be provided in a supportive environment.
This is a permanent post of 25 hours per week.
