Within PCF, Business Development Directorate (BDD) as part of National Procurement provides core services vital to organisational success with a focus on customer engagement, technology services, quality, learning and development, health and safety, business services and performance management. The team is committed to delivering the highest standards of service to our customers within a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

The Programme Support Officer plans, manages and co-ordinates administrative elements of diverse programmes of work to develop and implement a highly efficient, effective and sustainable fleet administration service for the National Fleet Support Unit (NFSU). This includes building, developing and maintaining a programme support infrastructure in line with recognised project management methodology. Responsible to the Fleet Systems and Administration Manager for the management and development of the departments Fleet Management and Telematics computerised systems, which will support the fleet management support function and all local NHS Scotland fleets, ensuring that they meet the current and future requirements of all 22 NHSS Boards 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive individual who has excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with a wide range of stakeholders from across various sectors. You will have experience in all aspects of project support, providing a full range of administrative and project support services. The post holder will support, facilitate and monitor progress of delegated projects, maintaining project information systems and producing reports as required, to ensure project timescales and objectives are achieved.

Candidates are required to be educated to degree level or have equivalent knowledge and experience.
