  • Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity in adult services?
  • Would you like to consolidate your learning and gain experience working in a busy teaching hospital?
  • Would you like to test out your skills treating patient in a range of specialist areas including stroke, general medicine, medicine for the elderly and neurosciences?
  • Are you looking to develop and progress your existing skills and be supported in a move towards a band 6 post?

Then this could be the job for you!

We are looking for applications from a range of therapists – perhaps you are just qualified and looking to gain experience in adult services with a supported move into a band 6 role, or perhaps you have been working for a while and are ready to begin a transition or step up to the challenge of a Band 6 position.  We will support you wherever you are on your SLT journey and support you through dysphagia training and your ongoing professional development.

The caseload in this role will be primarily communication impairment initially and the post holder will be expected to assess patients, plan and carry out therapy with supervision as required.

You will join a small supportive team of experienced therapists and work closely with our SLT support workers within Ninewells but will also become part of our larger service across the whole of Tayside.  Professional development is supported and encouraged and all newly qualified therapists are supported to complete the Flying Start Programme.  You must be HCPC registered.
