Emergency Department Research Group - Research Administrator
2 Year Fixed Term post, Band 4
37.5hrs/week

The Emergency Department at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh has a world wide reputation for research. In order to coordinate and support the expanding portfolio of research and audit, the Emergency Medicine Research Group Edinburgh (EMERGE) was formed in 2008 and continues to grow.

We are recruiting for an organised and enthusiastic administrator to assist us in the management of our exciting and dynamic research group. The post holder will work closely with the research manager, research project manager, research nurses and research active clinicians, and will play a key role in reviewing how the role can be optimised within the group, through the implementation of effective administrative and communication systems.

The role will be varied and demand a high degree of initiative, flexibility and attention to detail, and also the ability to prioritise and work autonomously. Skills including advanced keyboard ability, Microsoft office, event planning and website maintenance are essential.

This post is an exciting opportunity to develop new skills.

Secondment will be subject to agreement from your Line Manager.
