An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Stoma Care Nurse Specialist at the NHS Golden Jubilee.
Experience in teaching staff and pre assessing patients, including siting of stoma pre op is essential for this position and an enthusiasm for developing new initiatives within the Clinical Area is also a requirement for this role.
We are looking for a kind, empathetic nurse who enjoys teaching and supporting patient’s emotional and psychological needs, and understands that patients with a Stoma require a holistic and personalised approach.
Significant Clinical Experience within Colorectal Surgery and Stoma Care is essential for this role.
You will be required to competently perform the necessary technical / invasive / physical aspects of care for this defined patient group.
