An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and driven individual to join our existing team as an Occupational Health Nurse. You will work as a key member of our Occupational Health team in the delivery of a professional and comprehensive Occupational Health service within the Board at a time of growth. You will be expected to support employees to achieve and sustain a level of health and wellbeing to allow them to maximise their potential both in work and in life. The role will involve managing your own workload, sickness absence, pre-employments, assessing fitness for work and promoting a positive culture of wellbeing by identifying opportunities for health promotion, education and training on health issues and preventative measures.
The successful candidate will be registered nurse who ideally is in possession of an Occupational Health Nursing certificate, nursing diploma or degree. You will also have significant practical experience within Occupational Health nursing as well as post registration experience. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn. You should have excellent organisational skills together with a positive approach and the ability to work effectively within a small but busy team whilst adapting to the diverse and variable demands on our service.
