An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic experienced nurse to join the Advanced Critical Care Practitioners within the Golden Jubilee National Hospital. We are looking for a committed practitioner to join an established team within the Critical Care department.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of Scotland’s Cardiothoracic centre providing specialist care to Scotland’s patient population requiring Cardiothoracic services. Our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit is a 22 bedded unit which supports adult cardiac and thoracic surgical services at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital.
This vacancy demands excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills. Your personal qualities should include excellent organisation skills together with a positive approach and the ability to work autonomously within a busy team. Ongoing professional development and the ability to adapt to the diverse and variable demands of caring for patients within a fast paced environment.
Suitable candidates will be from a professional group with a governing body (e.g. nurse, pharmacist or physiotherapist). Unqualified applicants will complete two years of full time training before working independently and will contribute to delivering a 24/7 cover in the Cardiac Intensive Care unit.
