Our priority is always the same – to improve the health and well-being of the people of Scotland. We do this by working in partnership with colleagues across Health and Social Care to deliver fit for purpose solutions and systems, delivering high quality services that help our stakeholders to free up resources so they can be re-invested into essential services.  Supporting the join-up of Health and Social care through digitisation and inter-operability is an important part of the role.

The post:
As a vital part of NHS Scotland, NHS National Services Scotland’s mission is to enable and support the delivery of better health and better care, working in partnership. Our goal is to maintain the highest standards of patient/donor care whilst remaining internationally competitive. The Donor Services & Transport Department is responsible for the planning and provision of adequate supplies of safe, high quality blood components for NHS Scotland in full compliance with regulatory requirements
