An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our practice team within Dundee Health & Social Care Partnership. The role will work primarily in Maryfield Medical Centre, but may be required to work across other Dundee 2c practices as required by the service.

Applicants will require experience working at an advanced level.  You will pro-actively manage and review patients with acute care needs living in Dundee; you will be expected to act as a clinical leader, working in close collaboration with the members of the MDT.

You will be expected to act autonomously in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, including prescribing for the practice population who have acute medical needs.  You will play a key role in the leadership and development of the nursing team in Maryfield  Medical Centre to deliver high quality evidence based care.  You will also play a key role in enhancing patient experience, assuring clinical governance and supporting the General Practice Team in the improvement and continued development of the service.

Applicants will be registered nurses with extensive post registration experience in Primary care settings and must hold a post graduate diploma in advanced clinical practice, You must have the personal drive, clinical knowledge and commitment to undertake this challenging and rewarding role.


 You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the NMC Register. 

Hours of work are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 0800 and 1800 hours.
