The Registered Nurses - Adult within the Primary Care Team deliver a variety of nurse lead Assessments and Interventions, including Medication Administration, Health Screening, Managing Medical Emergencies, Delivering Enhanced Care to a small case load, Managing Minor Injuries and Long Term Conditions Clinics, while working in collaboration with the wider multidisciplinary Prisoner Healthcare team of, General Practitioners, Mental Health and Substance Misuse Nursing Teams. The team is lead by a SCN who has responsibility for Primary Care Nursing Teams across both sites.
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurse who can display good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills that are committed and motivated to delivering high quality safe and effective patient centred care to this complex patient group within this unique setting. You must be organised and have experience of working within a caring environment.
The post will cover both sites; working traditional nursing shifts over a 7 day period however may be subject to change to meet the needs of the service as it evolves.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the NMC Register
Hours of work are: 30.0 per week
