The NHS Tayside Clinical Health Psychology Service is delighted to be inviting applications for a newly established senior Clinical Psychologist post. This is a 1 year fixed term post of 11.25 hours per week (0.3wte).


This post will support the development and implementation of a psychological screening and treatment pathway for people who have been hospitalised as a result of COVID-19. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and work closely with the Lead Clinician within Clinical Health Psychology to develop this pathway. You will also be a highly specialised resource offering training, advice and consultancy to clinicians involved with rehabilitation or treatment of people who have experienced psychological difficulties as a result of COVID-19.


You will be a qualified and HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and have a strong interest and experience in the area of clinical health psychology and experience in multidisciplinary working.


The NHS Tayside Clinical Health Psychology Service has a wide remit and provides services to the General Health Psychology speciality, NHS Tayside Pain Service, Dundee Dental Hospital, Exceptional Referral Protocol Service, Blood Born Virus Service, Adult Weight Management Service, Bariatric Surgery Service and Scottish Adult Cystic Fibrosis Service.


The Tayside region is made up of Dundee, Angus and Perth and Kinross and offers a perfect blend of city, country and coastline. Dundee is the sunniest city in Scotland and houses the brilliant V&A. Things to do in Tayside include visiting a range of museums and galleries, watersports, hillwalking amongst the glens, historic houses, and delicious food and drink.
