Domestic Support Worker (Maternity Department) (REF: 10267)
Band 2 – Salary Range £18,383 - £20,015 per annum (pro rata)
Substantive, Part Time – 14 hours per week

We’re looking for people who share our team-working ethos. With a good level of basic education and good communication skills, you will need to be able to follow instructions so you can take part in the initial training and induction, which takes place when you start. From there, your manager and colleagues will give you the support you need while you complete your on the job training. The work you do in the Domestic team will be essential to the safe running of the Health Service in Shetland; you will be a valued member of the team and may have the opportunity to develop skills in other areas of the facilities team if you wish, such as laundry or catering.

In addition to salary, all posts qualify for a Distant Islands Allowance of £1,841 per annum (pro rata for part-time and fixed term positions).
