We have a vacancy for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our well-established Adult Mental Health Psychology team. We are looking for people with initiative and enthusiasm who will join us in ongoing evidence-based service re-design and development to best meet the needs of our patients. Our thriving Team is cohesive, supportive and involved in many service developments both within AMH Psychology and with our partners.
The AMH Psychology team (including Clinical & Counselling Psychologists, Clinical Associates in Applied Psychology and CBT therapists) is led by 2 Consultant Clinical Psychologists. This permanent post will provide clinical sessions in the South West locality, delivering a range of interventions within a tiered approach to service delivery.
You will have access to regular clinical and managerial supervision as well as opportunities for additional peer support and specialist clinical supervision groups.
This is an opportunity to join a large area-wide Psychology Service (100+ wte clinical staff) that includes all the major clinical specialties. The department is friendly, research-active and maintains a vigorous CPD programme. It has well-established links with the Universities of Edinburgh, Stirling and Dundee and provides placements for DClinPsychol trainees and trainees doing a range of clinically-based Masters programmes.
