A new opportunity has arisen for an innovative individual to join our Community Care and Treatment service which operates community run clinics in the South locality. You will require to be registered on Sub part 1: RN 1 of the NMC register

The post holder will assist and support the Senior Charge Nurse to lead the Community Care and Treatment Service team in providing safe and effective care in the running of a variety of clinics including management of wounds, phlebotomy, chronic disease monitoring, anticoagulation and ear care.

The successful applicant will have extensive experience of working within a clinic setting and have specialist clinical knowledge of best practice in particular relation to wound care. You will be an excellent example to your colleagues in the delivery of compassionate and holistic person centred care. As a Charge Nurse, you will exhibit strong leadership and management skills, will influence and develop practice and will take forward new initiatives within a community based team.

The service is based within the South locality which operates clinics in Kinross, Auchterarder, Crieff and Bridge of Earn with in-reach services based within GP practices in Abernethy, Errol and Comrie. You will be allocated a base but be expected to travel across the locality where required.

Applicants must have a positive attitude to change and endeavour to deliver high standards of patient care. You should have evidence of continuing development pertinent to the role although we are committed to delivering and supporting ongoing training and development.
