The Community Mental Health service in Angus is expanding due to exciting innovations and developments within the service. We are now looking for two Team Leaders to join us in North Angus as we have a pending retirement and have also increased our existing workforce bringing in a range of other specialist posts. We are looking for experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses to become part of the leadership team.  We want Team Leaders who can contribute to the continued development of the service, enhancing the patient journey and to lead supportive teams to deliver the best person centred care.


The posts are based at either Whitehills Community Care Centre in Forfar or Stracathro Hospital Brechin and you will be part of an Integrated Community Mental Health Service.


You will have extensive experience of working with people who have mental health needs and difficulties and be committed to improving the lives of people who use our service. Applicants should demonstrate strong leadership skills, and will work alongside other Team Leaders, leading on operational duties, service improvement and the development of your team.


Successful candidates will receive a robust induction programme alongside ongoing supportive clinical and managerial supervision. Your professional development will be supported through internal and external training, structured reviews and the support of a multi-disciplinary team.

You must hold a current valid registration with the NMC and you must be able to travel across the locality. You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the NMC register.
