An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Forth Valley Radiology Department for a Band 6 Radiographer. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate flexibility and a desire to undertake role development with well-documented evidence of Continuing Professional Development.

The role will involve performing Radiographic examinations, providing direct care and a high quality diagnostic imaging service in order to assist in the management of patients. The successful candidate will be required to deputise for Imaging Team Leaders as required, supervise Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, Radiography Assistants and students ensuring organisation of specialised areas within Radiology whilst providing continuity of service delivery.

Band 6 Radiographers currently rotate through all general area’s including ED and you will be expected to participate in the Out of Hours (OOH) rota, undertaking CT scanning OOH.  We are interested in ambitious and talented Radiographers with excellent technical and interpersonal skills.

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be an HCPC registered Diagnostic Radiographer in possession of the DCR and/or BSc/BSc Hons. in Diagnostic Radiography.
