Responsible for professional clinical leadership of Paramedics, Technicians, Ambulance Care Assistants, Nurses and other health professionals across the organisation, the Director of Care Quality and Professional Development will contribute to our strategic development and service improvement. A key objective will be to ensure the highest possible quality of experience for our patients. You will also assume responsibility for Clinical (with the Medical Director) and Care Governance, Infection Prevention and Control, Patient and Public Involvement and Information Governance.

Educated to Masters Level with postgraduate or equivalent relevant qualifications, you will have extensive experience in one of the Allied Health Professions or in Nursing, including significant experience operating at a senior level in a complex, people-based organisation. You will also hold membership of a relevant professional body.

To be successful in the role, as well as demonstrating our values, you will also be:

  • ​​​​​​​an excellent communicator, experienced in influencing and persuading;
  • able to make decisions on complex issues based on analysis of information;
  • skilled in building relationships with stakeholders;
