As a member of a research team, the post holder will have responsibility for the delivery of direct and indirect care and associated data collection for concurrent research studies undertaken in the department, in accordance with the International Conference on Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP).
The post holder will ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to research subjects and, where relevant their families, in partnership with all members of the multi disciplinary and research teams.
The post holder has responsibility and accountability for maintaining both clinical, staff and research governance.
The post holder will provide clinical leadership within the CRF multidisciplinary team.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
