The post holder will co-ordinate the activity of all staff involved in collecting and managing data relating to clinical trials within Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility (CRF) - in particular Phase 1 and First in Human studies. This will include providing training and education to nursing, research and administration staff in study administration. The post holder will play a key role in ensuring that data relating to clinical studies are collected and maintained to the highest quality standards. They will develop, implement and maintain systems and processes to ensure the quality of data collection and clinical study information management in the CRF. They will provide day-to-day supervision for other members of the Project Support Team.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
