Specialist Occupational Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities:

The post holder will have a designated base within Loanhead Medical Centre within the Community Care Home Team. The Occupational Therapist will undertake falls assessments, specialist seating, postural management, moving and handling and equipment assessments.   The post holder will also be responsible for environmental assessments, education/training, sensory assessments, and engaging residents in meaningful activity for general health, well-being and quality of life. Enable staff with detailed care plans to support activities of daily living.
