This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. There is a rare opportunity to join our team as a radiographic departmental assistant working in the Edinburgh Imaging Facility RIE.

Your role will be to assist the radiographers during MRI examinations. You will provide specialist clinical support, clerical support and maintain the imaging environment in order to ensure a high quality of service to patients and research subjects.

You should be able to use initiative and have good attention to detail. You should be a team worker with a flexible approach to work. You must be committed to providing the highest quality service to patients, research participants and colleagues. You will be expected to complete in-house training and competencies.

Flexible working may be required as workload demands, such as an evening service.
