The post:
The National Clinical Informatics Service for Scotland is involved in Clinical Safety Assurance of Health IT; Software as a Medical Device; Health & Care Analytics; Clinical Terminologies; Digital Health & Care Solutions; Clinical Data & Information; Research & Innovation; and Training & Events.
Scotland’s Digital Health and Care Strategy makes a commitment to develop and embed a standards based approach to clinical and care safety cases for all major systems. With the resulting increased demand for clinical assurance on a range of new IT solutions, an exciting opportunity has been created to strengthen our Clinical Informatics Team. As a Clinical Information and Clinical Safety Officer you will play a critical role in enhancing the clinical safety of a range of IT solutions being developed/supported by the Digital & Security Business Unit.
The candidate:
