Are you interested in a part-time job that is vital to the running of the Scottish Ambulance Service? Whether you are currently undertaking part-time education, are a recent graduate, in the middle of your career, or looking to reduce your hours in advance of retiring we may have the ideal job for you.

​​​​​​​We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Secretary to work at our Regional Headquarters in Inverness on a permanent contract for 22.5 hours per week.

Reporting to the PA/Office Manager, the role includes providing an effective level of secretarial and administrative support to the Management Team of the North Region.

Duties will include typing various correspondence, reports, and other appropriate documentation, maintaining administrative files, processing of payroll, managing several databases, taking and typing of minutes of meetings, and supporting other staff in the day to day running of a busy administration office.

As well as having good communication skills you will be well organised. The ability to work on your own initiative together with administrative/clinical experience would be preferred however local training and support will be provided to the successful candidate. You should be computer literate with experience of word processing, excel spreadsheets and databases.

The 22.5 hours will ideally be worked Wednesday to Friday, however this can be discussed in further detail at interview.
