An opportunity has arisen for Band 6 District Nurses to join our Out of Hours Weekend Community Nursing Service within Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership. You will lead a team of Community nurses providing a triage and responder service for citywide unscheduled clinical nursing referrals from GMeds, NHS24 and other professionals, whilst also supporting the Community nursing teams with their delivery of scheduled nursing care.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring prioritisation of symptom control and support for palliative and end of life care, supporting admission avoidance where possible and appropriate.
Candidates must possess a Specialist Practice District Nursing qualification and should evidence current clinical, team management and workload planning experience at Band 6. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential to the role

HOURS: These hours and rota may be subject to change in line with service development

08:00/08:30 -16:30/17:00 (with flexibility) Saturday and Sunday (1 weekend ON 1 weekend OFF) Equates to 7.5 hours weekly
Post 2
08:00/08:30 -16:30/17:00 (with flexibility) Saturday and Sunday (1 weekend ON: 2 weekends OFF) Equates to 5 hours weekly
