The Health Records Service provides a clinical administration service supporting the delivery of patient care across University Hospitals Crosshouse and Ayr. Health Records clerks work within a number of dedicated administration office and clinical areas throughout our hospitals. 

A number of exciting full and part time opportunities have arisen to support our out-patient services. These roles will support managing patient referrals to our clinical services, including waiting list management, scheduling consultations, dealing with telephone calls and patient enquiries. The majority of posts are based within University Hospital Crosshouse with a lesser number in University Hospital Ayr.

To be successful in this role you will have a flexible can do approach, with excellent people skills. You will have developed communication skills both oral and written. You will be conversant with Office packages Outlook, Word and Excel. It is vitally important that you are able to work accurately to a high standard using your initiative and within the wider team.

You should possess SVQ Level 2 in Administration/Information Technology or equivalent and have good communication and interpersonal skills.
