Exciting GP opportunity Duns Medical Group, Scottish Borders
We are a friendly, organised, GP practice in the historic Scottish Border town of Duns. Due to planned retirement we are looking ahead for one or two GPs to join us in developing their ideal job. Our emphasis is on a harmonious work life balance and we can be flexible in accommodating your needs.
Located in a beautiful, rural location in the unspoilt eastern Borders, one can enjoy coastal, countryside and city life with ease. We have a wide range of local amenities and outdoor pursuits. We are 60 minutes from Edinburgh and 90 minutes from Newcastle. Great transport links nearby with the A1, East Coast Main Line railway and two international airports.

This job enjoys a unique location with the ability to live in either Scotland or England depending on the financial and educational priorities of you and your family.
We are a team of 3 GP partners, 1 practice nurse, and 2 health care assistants.
We are based in purpose built NHS Borders Health Centre, which also houses another GP practice, a community hospital and hosts a wide range of visiting consultants and AHPs.
We have an attached practice pharmacist, a pharmacy technician and a first contact physiotherapist.

- All GP options considered - salaried, partnership, job share.
- 6 to 9 sessions required
- No extended hours, out of hours or community hospital responsibility.
