An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join an enthusiastic, supportive and proactive team in the Peterhead and Ellon areas of Aberdeenshire. Dysphagia competencies are essential for this post and full training will be provided. Career progression to Band 6 is possible on completion of dysphagia training and demonstrated competencies.
The post holder will provide a community service to adults with acquired disorders of communication and swallowing in the Peterhead and Ellon areas in a range of community settings. There are good opportunities for professional and personal development, and staff members are encouraged to contribute to the development of the service as a whole. We have a supervision programme for all staff and a mentorship programme to support newly qualified therapists.
