Public Dental Service NHS Borders require an Oral Health Coordinator to be part of our Oral Health Improvement team. The applicant must be able to support effective team working and deliver excellent patient care demonstrating our core values.

The post holder is responsible for raising the profile of oral health and managing oral health training programmes within priority groups including special care, vulnerable adults & older people in accordance with local and national targets and guidelines.

The post holder will assist in the management and development of the following programmes; Smile 4 Life, Open Wide, Caring for Smiles & Mouth Matters

You will have excellent communication, organisation and people skills.  You will be able to work autonomously but also contribute to the oral health team when required.  Approaching your work in a methodical and sensitive manner is essential to the post as dealing with vulnerable groups can be a challenge.

Oral Health Qualification NEBDN or equivalent required​​​​​​
