Due to the anticipated response to this post it may close before the closing date noted on the advert therefore once you start your application form please complete it immediately.  To provide a community nursing service to the housebound population of Inverclyde.  A health care support worker is required.  Experience is essential and community experience is desirable. To assist the community nursing, community alarms and care at home service to provide effective and holistic nursing care to service users within Inverclyde HSCP.  To work collaboratively in both a planned and responsive manner to ensure nursing skill and expertise is afforded to residents of Inverclyde HSCP. To provide a community nursing service to the housebound population of Inverclyde in conjunction and collaboration with HSCP colleagues from community alarms, care at home and wider multi-disciplinary team.  Rotation within Inverclyde locality is anticipated as service demands change.                                                                                              

Skills / Qualifications:

Community experience would be advantageous but not essential. NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde’s pre-employment checking for all appointed candidates will take place. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership / Disclosure Scotland Check. Full driving licence / car owner essential

The shift pattern for this post is 35 hours per week worked 4 on 4 off​​​​​​​ 8am – 1pm then 5pm – 10pm split shift
