A permanent part time position has arisen within the Acute Services Admin, Oncology Unit for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual, who has the desire to develop on a personal and professional basis, and who will deliver a quality clerical service.  Work pattern will be variable to meet the needs of the service.

You will have relevant experience in clerical/reception settings.  You should have a sound knowledge of office procedures, the ability to work accurately under pressure, have attention to detail and work co-operatively within a team and have a mature outlook.

Duties of the post will include:

  • Provide a welcoming reception service within Oncology Unit
  • Responsible for managing the clinic appointment system, including making appointments.
  • Prepare medical and nursing notes / x-ray and laboratory forms for all Oncology clinics on a daily basis.
  • The post holder must be self-motivated in prioritising the day-to-day duties of the job.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland Check.
