An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Information Analyst Post for Alcohol and Drugs to work in Renfrewshire.

Hosted by NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Public Health Directorate, the post holder will work closely with Renfrewshire Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP) who has responsibility for providing a strategic framework to assist key constituent partners to reduce the harm caused by alcohol and drug use ranging from prevention and early intervention programmes to the provision of evidence based treatment and care services.  

A key element of the post will be to support the ADP to evidence the implementation of the Medication Assisted Treatment Standards in Renfrewshire. In addition, the post-holder will also be involved in developing an analytical framework, both qualitative and quantitative, for the ADP and constituent partners, ensuring the exploitation of datasets to inform service improvement and support decision making in line with national and local strategic frameworks. This will also involve undertaking needs assessments and contributing to the ADP Performance Framework 

Educated to degree level is essential, ideally with a numerical and statistical content. Knowledge and experience of data analysis techniques and a knowledge of statistical theory with the ability to explain results to the ADP in a clear and concise manner is also essential.

A full valid UK driving licence will be essential for this position as the post holder will have the flexibility to work at base in Renfrewshire and from home to suit organisational needs.
