​​​​​​​This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with significant leadership experience within a health or social care service who demonstrates core values and behaviours to become a part of the leadership team in Renfrewshire.

This is a fixed term contract initially for 1 year but would also be suitable for secondment.  Please ensure you have the support from your manager if applying for secondment. 

The post holder will have a health or social degree with relevant leadership experience within complex health or social care service.  They will be able to work under own initiative and have a sound understanding of the national and local policy drivers relating to community service provision. 

The post holder will be responsible for the operational delivery of a number of services across localities: District Nursing, RES, Care home team, CTAC and Phlebotomy which equates to approximately 130 staff.   The focus of the teams is to work collaboratively to providing person centred, safe and effective care to aid prevention of admission and facilitate support on discharge for the population of Renfrewshire. 

Our community services are continually changing and evolving to provide care at home or in a homely setting, this role will be pivotal to this and instrumental in leading transformational change across a system. 

Shift pattern is; 9 to 5 Monday to Friday, weekend work to meet service needs
