An opportunity has arisen within the Women, Children & Clinical Services for a clerical assistant to work within the Children’s Unit.
The post will be based in the Children’s Ward, within the GP assessment area which is particularly busy in the evenings. This post will work closely with all areas of the paediatric unit.
We are looking to recruit a flexible and hard working individual who will compliment our present team of clerical assistants. You must possess excellent communication skills, both in person and on the telephone, work to a high standard and be keen to develop the service as the need arises.
As the first person the public will meet on arriving in the department you must be welcoming, keen to help and remain calm when under pressure.
In return we will provide the successful candidate with an orientation period and a mentor until settled into the post. We will also encourage the successful candidate to be part of our unit team and will be open to any new ideas to improve our service.
