The Opportunity

We are looking for an Information Security Senior Specialist to join our small, but highly talented and growing team to collaborate and ensure that there is a robust foundation in regard to Information Security for the accountability, transparency, and secure use of personal identifiable data in the delivery of essential health and social care digital systems.

Working within the Information Governance & Security team you will have the opportunity to provide expert Information Security Specialist support that will directly inform the development and delivery of digital services from an information security aspect for health and care professionals, and the general public.

What We Love to See

Information Security Specialists offer a broad range of skills and experience, if you can offer some or all of these, we’d love you to apply:

  • Proven experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of business/management processes and systems from an information security compliance perspective
  • A clear understanding of Information Security and Privacy Legislation
  • Highly experienced in working in the field of Information Governance and Information Security legislation
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Highly effective communicator knowing how to make complex technical information and language simple for diverse senior internal and external stakeholders (both verbally and in writing)
  • Ability to work on own initiative, to organise and prioritise workload and to meet strict deadlines
