Applications are welcome for the above 6 months locum full-time post, 40 hours per week, based at the Chalmers Sexual Health Centre, Edinburgh.
This post is a 6 month locum consultant post in Genitourinary and HIV medicine to provide cover for the clinical elements of role of the current Clinical Lead during a period of sabbatical leave from 01/02/23 to 31/07/23.
The Job Plan is negotiable and will be agreed between the successful applicant, and the Acting Clinical Lead. Applications for part-time working and/or compressed hours will be considered, where this provides the essential clinical cover required. LSRHS is a large fully integrated sexual and reproductive health service based at the Chalmers centre in Edinburgh. Duties include direct clinical care in urgent care, referral and specialist HIV clinics, clinical teaching and triage. The postholder will provide senior medical cover for the GUM & HIV service and associated specialist services including advice to the clinical team on duty, local clinic teams, GPs and other phone and email enquiries and results management.
There are ample opportunities for service improvement, management, research, and teaching within clinical sexual and reproductive health services.
