This exciting opportunity is available from 5th February 2020 to the 2nd February 2021. This programme is suitable for existing Higher Specialty/Specialist Trainees in Emergency Medicine who wish to complete Paediatric Emergency Medicine Sub-Specialty Training. In the future it is hoped that this programme will be offered to Higher Specialty/Specialist Trainees in Paediatrics and interested individuals are encouraged to make contact.
Applicants must currently be in a training post and hold a National/Visiting Training Number. Applicants from out with the North of Scotland must have the agreement of their Postgraduate Dean to retain their original Training Number and to return to their original deanery at the end of the 12 month training period.
This programme comprises of six months in the Emergency Department and three months in the Medical Paediatric Department of Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, and three months in the Paediatric Critical Care Department of the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.
