This exciting opportunity has arisen within The Acute Stroke Service within Wards 402 & 403 at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. We are looking to recruit a reliable, flexible individual that will join our well established team.
Ideally you should have previous experience as a Band 3 Senior Health Care Support Worker and have undertaken further study and gained competence in Venepuncture, Cannulation, ECG, Halter monitors and Urinary Catheterisation. You are required to be computer literate.
This position is predominately working and supporting medical staff on the unit.
Minimum experience considered will be previous / current experience as a Band 2 Health Care Support worker within an acute hospital setting and you must have evidence of recent professional development.
You are required to be level headed, a good communicator, have the ability to prioritise workload and work autonomously.
This is a full time position 37.5 hours per week over 5 days Monday - Friday.
