We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, forward thinking, and pro-active Registered Nurse to join the Ophthalmology Service at NHS Golden Jubilee Hospital.
The Eye Centre is a bespoke, purpose built center, integrating Ophthalmology Out Patient Clinics, Pre & post Op areas and Ophthalmology Theatres. The new unit aims to ensure a high level of quality and provision of elective Cataract services to meet the demands of an aging population.
The post holder will have day to day clinical and managerial responsibility for the Ophthalmology Theatres and pre/post op area, as well as supporting and cross covering the Ophthalmology Clinics in the absence of the SCN responsible for that area.
We are looking for a Registered Adult Nurse with a First Level nursing degree (or equivalent) and extensive Ophthalmology theatre experience and proven managerial experience.
