An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a new Band 6 Practice Educator (NHS Grampian) within the Division of Medicine and Division of Unscheduled Care.
We are seeking a motivated, innovative registered nurse to be part of the divisional team, led by a Lead Practice Educator, who together will be responsible for supporting pre and post registration nursing training and education as well as the development of Clinical Health Care Support Workers. The post holder will also have the ability to work across the division and engage with the nursing workforce at all levels to implement change and support ongoing development
Applicants should be a Nurse with current NMC registration and;
- Have extensive experience at Band 5 (or equivalent) or above, in posts which included supporting and supervising learners in practice settings.
- Demonstrate experience of mentoring, teaching and facilitation in a range of clinical and educational settings.
- Provide evidence of working at post-graduate diploma level (or equivalent).
