We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, forward thinking Registered nurse to join the Orthopaedic Outpatient Clinic and Pre-assessment Service at NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital as a Charge Nurse.
Phase 2 of the planed Elective Expansion will open in the autumn of 2023. The new unit aims to ensure a high level of quality and provision of elective surgical and endoscopy services to meet the demands of West of Scotland population. Part of this programme includes refurbishment and expansion of the Orthopaedic Outpatient clinics and Nurse Pre-assessment service.
The post holder should possess a caring and compassionate demeanor towards patients and staff, good communication skills, Leadership skills and display a “Can Do” attitude. The post holder must be able to prioritise conflicting demands to deliver patient and service needs.
The Orthopaedic Outpatient Clinical Education and Nurse Management Team will support the successful candidate to achieve all aspects of the role requirements.
We are looking for a Registered Adult Nurse with a First Level nursing degree (or equivalent) and extensive Orthopaedic experience and proven management experience.
