Community and Events Fundraiser
Full-time permanent post
37.5 hours per week
Based: Edinburgh & Lothians Health Foundation, Waverley Gate
Salary: Band 6 £30,401- £38,046 per annum

About the role and you
We are looking for an experienced Community and Events Fundraiser who is passionate about helping people fundraise in the local communities and who can give a high level of support. You will be able to introduce donor care processes as well as identify and develop new opportunities to grow income and awareness levels.
You will be a skilled relationship manager who can recruit and work alongside our volunteer fundraising committees who support wards and departments across NHS Lothian. You will support fundraisers and committees across all health conditions with a particular focus on cancer services.
This is one of several new positions within our newly established fundraising team and we will be recruiting other posts throughout 2020. You will be reporting to the Head of Fundraising and work closely with colleagues throughout the charity and NHS Lothian.
You will be innovative, self-driven and be excited about the opportunity to help establish the Community and Events Fundraising function within the charity.
The role will be based at Waverley Gate with a hot desk at the Western General.
