What you'll do

This is an exciting opportunity to join our innovative team within NES Pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists with an interest in educational initiatives to expand their career experience and work within our Professional Development (PD) workstream.

Working within the professional development team, you will be involved in the development and delivery of education and training to meet the requirements of the pharmacy workforce in Scotland. You will have a specific focus on the development of new and updating of existing online resources available via Turas Learn.

You will be highly motivated, demonstrate good attention to detail and have a desire to promote best educational practice. This role requires you to have the ability to adapt quickly to and effectively use new technology and IT software. This role would also allow you to showcase your creativity and design skills.

For this role you will be highly motivated with a desire to support the further implementation of exciting new initiatives. You will work closely with members of the NES team and the wider NES team networks, community pharmacists, hospital and primary care pharmacists, colleagues from the Universities and the wider external stakeholder environment as required.

What you'll bring

You will be a qualified Pharmacist with a Masters’ degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.  You should be member of the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain.  You will also bring excellent interpersonal skill and the ability to develop and maintain good communications and working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Please note that travel across Scotland can be a business-as-usual requirement of this role and may require overnight stays (currently on hold). We will offer remote interviews hosted via Microsoft Teams.
